Leavenworth is a quaint little Bavarian town in Chelan County, Washington. The drive from Seattle to Leavenworth is one of my favorite drives in Washington filled with cliffs, snow clad mountains and rivers. It’s a popular destination for visitors who normally couple the trip with a visit to Steven’s Pas, which is a ski resort just before Leavenworth.

I like the place so much that I have driven there thrice in the last 6 months. My first snowmobiling experience was there as well. Well, for that matter, I saw snow for the first time there! =)
